Terms of Service for Greenfield Home Services Ltd

Effective date: 22 July 2026

1. Introduction and acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern the provision of services by Greenfield Home Services Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) to any customer, client, visitor, or user (“you”, “your”) who requests, books, purchases, or otherwise receives our services.

By making a booking, requesting a quotation, confirming a service appointment, allowing us to commence work, or using our website, phone, email, or any other communication channel to engage our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use or receive our services.

These Terms apply in addition to any written quotation, booking confirmation, service agreement, estimate, invoice, or additional service-specific terms agreed between you and Greenfield Home Services Ltd. If there is any conflict, the written agreement or booking confirmation shall prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.

2. Scope of services

Greenfield Home Services Ltd provides local domestic and commercial property services, which may include, without limitation, the following:

Any service description, quotation, or estimate is provided based on the information available at the time. Actual work required may change depending on the condition, size, accessibility, and specific requirements of the property or site. We reserve the right to adjust the scope, timing, equipment, and price where necessary, subject to your approval where reasonably practicable.

We may refuse to undertake or may stop work if, in our reasonable opinion, the property or requested task is unsafe, unlawful, technically unsuitable, outside our competence, or would require specialist trade licensing, certification, or equipment not ordinarily provided by us.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, our services are provided on a one-off or recurring basis as specified in the booking confirmation and do not create any exclusive arrangement, ongoing obligation, or guarantee of future availability.

3. User obligations and responsibilities

You agree to:

You are responsible for ensuring that the requested service is suitable for your property or surfaces. For example, pressure washing may affect delicate paving, loose pointing, decorative coatings, or weathered materials, and small property repairs may reveal pre-existing defects or require additional materials or specialist trades.

If you fail to meet your obligations, we may suspend, delay, or cancel the service, and you may remain liable for any reasonable costs incurred, including travel, labour time, materials, or cancellation fees where applicable.

4. Payment terms and conditions

Prices may be provided as fixed quotations, estimates, hourly rates, call-out charges, or recurring service charges, depending on the nature of the work. Unless stated otherwise, all prices are quoted in pounds sterling and may be subject to applicable taxes or surcharges.

Payment terms will be specified in the quotation, booking confirmation, or invoice. Where no specific terms are stated, payment is due within 7 days of invoice date, or immediately upon completion where payment is taken on the day of service.

We may require a deposit, advance payment, or pre-authorisation before commencing work, particularly for end of tenancy cleaning, larger jobs, recurring contracts, or where materials must be purchased in advance. Deposits may be non-refundable except where required otherwise by applicable law or expressly stated in writing.

If payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to:

Any estimate is provided in good faith but may change if the scope of work differs from the information originally supplied, if additional labour or materials are required, or if access issues, hidden damage, or customer-requested changes arise. We will seek approval where reasonably practicable before materially increasing the price.

You are responsible for any bank charges, failed payment fees, chargeback fees, or other costs arising from payment failure or reversal, except to the extent caused by our error.

5. Cancellation and refund policy

You may cancel or reschedule a booking by contacting us using the details in these Terms. Cancellations and rescheduling requests should be made as early as possible.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the following cancellation rules apply:

For recurring services, either party may terminate future visits by giving reasonable notice, unless a separate contract sets out different notice requirements.

Refunds, if any, are assessed case by case and depend on the nature of the service already performed. Services that have been fully completed are generally non-refundable. If you believe a service has not been provided with reasonable care and skill, you must notify us within 48 hours of completion, with supporting details and, where possible, photographs. We may offer to re-perform the affected part of the service, provide a partial refund, or take other reasonable remedial action at our discretion, subject to any mandatory legal rights you may have.

No refund will be due where dissatisfaction results from circumstances outside our control, incomplete or inaccurate information provided by you, pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or failures to follow our instructions or recommendations.

6. Liability limitations

We will perform our services with reasonable care and skill. However, to the fullest extent permitted by law:

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability in connection with any service or claim shall be limited to the amount paid or payable by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

7. Intellectual property rights

All intellectual property rights in our website, branding, service materials, quotations, templates, documents, photographs, processes, checklists, and content created by or for Greenfield Home Services Ltd remain our property or the property of our licensors, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

You may use any materials we provide solely for your personal or internal business purposes in connection with the relevant service. You must not copy, reproduce, adapt, publish, distribute, or exploit our materials for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

Any feedback, reviews, suggestions, or comments provided by you may be used by us without restriction and without compensation, provided that we handle any personal data in accordance with our privacy obligations.

8. Data protection and privacy

Greenfield Home Services Ltd will collect, use, store, and process personal data only as necessary to manage bookings, provide services, process payments, communicate with you, maintain records, and comply with legal obligations.

We will handle personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws and our privacy practices. This may include sharing data with service providers, payment processors, accountants, insurers, debt recovery agents, or professional advisers where reasonably necessary for the operation of our business or the provision of services.

You confirm that any personal data you provide to us is accurate and that you have authority to provide it. Where you supply data relating to third parties, you must ensure you have the necessary consent or lawful basis to do so.

We may retain records of services, communications, invoices, and related documentation for business, legal, tax, and regulatory purposes. For more information about how we process personal data, you may contact us using the details below.

9. Force majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, fire, flood, storm, epidemic, pandemic, industrial action, transport disruption, equipment failure, utility outage, government action, civil disorder, or shortage of materials or labour.

If a force majeure event occurs, we may suspend performance, reschedule the service, or cancel the affected booking without liability, except for any refund of sums paid for services not yet performed, where required by law or otherwise agreed.

10. Changes to terms

We may update or revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, operational practices, or business needs. The updated version will take effect from the date stated in the revised Terms, unless otherwise required by law.

Where reasonably practicable, we will notify customers of material changes by email, website notice, or other appropriate means. Continued use of our services after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

You and Greenfield Home Services Ltd agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising from or relating to these Terms or the services, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that may apply.

12. Contact information

If you have any questions, complaints, cancellation requests, or legal notices relating to these Terms or our services, please contact:

13. Severability clause

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, unenforceable, or otherwise ineffective by a court or competent authority, that provision shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, or if that is not possible, it shall be severed from these Terms.

The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. Any failure or delay by us in enforcing any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
